That’s why I decided to create a custom theme that fit my retro gaming personality. I’m excited to introduce you to my custom theme for the R36s Retro handheld: The Pixel Perfect theme!
What is Pixel Perfect?
Pixel Perfect is a custom, retro-themed visual design specifically tailored for the R36S retro handheld console. The theme captures the nostalgic essence of classic pixel art, with vibrant, colorful pixel aesthetics. Every part of the interface has been designed to offer an immersive and seamless experience that evokes the charm of old-school gaming while remaining entirely functional and user-friendly on the R36S (using Emulation Station and AmberELEC, it may work on ArkOS or other systems but I don’t guarantee 100% compatibility).
The Pixel Perfect theme is designed to complement the handheld’s hardware, taking full advantage of the screen’s resolution to deliver crisp, detailed retro graphics. I’ve made sure that it is not only visually pleasing but also incredibly smooth to navigate.
How to Get Pixel Perfect
I’ve made this custom theme available for download! You can grab the theme on my GitHub page. Once you download it, installation is simple—just follow the provided instructions and you’ll have your R36S decked out in retro style in no time.
